Mullally talks about his new single ‘Troubled Love’ and his career in the music industry so far

Singer / songwriter Mullally swung by the Pulse88 studio to have a chat with me about his latest single ‘Troubled Love’ and his career so far. The new single has been featured on my playlist for a few weeks now and it follows his debut single ‘Overdose’ which was released in January. Purely judging from these two songs, I described Mullally to be more “new generation RnB” where as he describes himself as “neo-soul”. Now that I think about it, I can probably imagine he is an amalgamation of both. His soulful tones blend perfectly with the contemporary RnB beats that Overdose and Troubled Love has given us and I look forward to learning more about him as an artist as and when he releases more music.

Mullally also treated us with a live acoustic performance of a Drake and Rihanna mash up. He actually originally posted a performance of this song a few days before on his Instagram (@MullallyMusic) and it was really popular. Him and his guitarist have great chemistry and it was an absolute pleasure to watch.

Listen back to the interview below and I have also included a snippet of the acoustic performance he did.
