Producer, multi-instrumentalist, and musical director of The Foreign Exchange, Zo! joined me on #TheVIBE on Pulse88 Radio. This guy is no stranger to the neo soul world, having worked with the likes of Eric Roberson, Muhsinah, Carmen Rodgers and many more.
The Detroit born musician has recently released his third studio album ‘Skybreak’. He spoke to me about how much this album is personal to him due to the passing of his father. One of the tracks on the album is an instrumental called ‘For Pops’ which is so beautiful.
Zo! also talked about working with UK RnB singer Dornik and how they ended up doing the the first single ‘Lifelines’ from the album.
